This works for every console that can launch HBL

Introduction

Hello,

I don't know if you remember, but i've posted a first version of a modified WUPInstaller, and i just deleted the blacklist so it was very dangerous for the users !
To prevent people from bricking their console, @Cyan closed the thread, thnaks :D

So today, i just made another version of it.
Safe as fuck !

Modification

So as i said, it's safe !

I've create another black list, so now, what you're not able to do :

- Installing System Titles
- Installing unpaid game and Downloadable Content (DLC)

Is that useful ?

Yeah that's very useful for people who don't want to shut down their DNS settings to update or install a free game/demo from the eShop !

What can you do with that mdofied version

- Install a game update (classic.)
- Install a free game/app
- Install a free DLC

w/out modifying your DNS settings

Place it in your SD Card and launch it through HBL

Important info

You can't use it to spoof your console :/
You have to use the original one

Donation

If you want to donate, for my "useful" work :rofl2:

Does this work on 5.5.1?
Yes, but I don't see why you would like to use this, when you can enter directly to the eShop and download everything this app lets you install. This is mostly for people under 5.5.1 who don't want to update.

anyway I won't test it before saying a good comment lol

Of course this works! It just installs games and apps from the eShop that are actually free in the eShop. Like demos, updates and some Free DL games (like Fatal Frame or a tank game).

Why shouldn`t it
Because there was one before that someone released, it might have been NexoCube, that didn't even work. Everyone in the thread got an error when installing things, no one was able to successfully install something. It got deleted after.

But i got my answer now, ty

Look at the introduction part xD

Yeah, that was me so now it's "fixed" since it doesn't allow paid shit from being installed

It's not that it didn't work.
What he did back then was just remove the while list and said "you can install anything without the whitelist", and people thought they could install pirated games they didn't bought from eshop with it, except that non-free Titles downloaded using NUSGrabber don't come with a ticket. so it gave an error because the ticket was missing.

I removed his old version because he just removed the whiltelist protection, which would allow users to install system title or even dev unit tools on a non dev console, which was very dangerous and could brick user's console.

This time he kept the system title filtering, which is better.
There's probably a check if the ticket is present or not before installing (I didn't check the new modded sources yet)

Next step would be to add features instead of removing protection :p
For example :
- do not auto-install at launch
- Add sub-folder support
- display a list of available sub-folders (by name for example)
- allow user to select which sub-folder to install
- install multiple sub-folder at the same time (one after the other) before rebooting/exiting.

doing that would "maybe" allow system update using WUP installer as it would install multiple files instead of a single one.
that's only a supposition, I don't know if anyone tested that yet.

Why don't you make a pull request/fork/branch of dimok wup installer instead of creating just an other repo?

edit:
wait what?
"#define TITLE_TEXT "NexoHaxx Title Installer (v1.0)""
You add 2 lines and the complete code get yours?

So you can successfully install free titles without them being previously installed on the system?
Tickets and things like that really only apply to paid for title stuff?

Yep. Updates, free DLC and free apps (such as Tank! Tank! Tank!) you should be able to install without a ticket.

Soin theory i can install the Mercedez Benz dlc for Mario Kart 8 and use it for loadiine?
You should be able to. Though if worst comes to worst (it does require a ticket to install) your Wii U should reject the file without installing it. Who would've thought the lack of an IOSU exploit would've actually been handy?
