Stupidly innocent question: using this and Mocha, is it possible to install and play off-region/off-language games safely? I remember reading the Brazilian method had issues if you went off-region. Wondering if that still applied here.

WupInstaller doesn't affect what the title does once it is installed, and it'll install out-of-region titles without complaint - even without Mocha. As for Mocha, it only bypasses the region check that happens at the time that the title starts. Any problems that arise from one region's game being run on another region's console will not be magically resolved. So yes, those limitations still apply to the specific titles that get confused by the combination of region and language, but it's not because of the installer.

Do we install this is USB or nand? I'm on CFW btw

If you use USB, it MUST be installed onto the USB. In otherwords, if you have a USB drive plugged in, it has to be installed to that drive. If you aren't using a USB drive, will work from NAND.

Is there a list anywhere of those specific cases? Also would this mean EUR on a USA system should encounter no problems at all?

(also at worst, I would just uninstall the title if I find a problem with it, correct?)

The Loadiine compatibility list mentions a few of them. Even though you're not using Loadiine, the cross-region problems are the same. I don't know if anyone has made a better list.

You can still have problems even if you're using English. For example, if a game uses the region and language as the file name for a sound file, your console would look for USEN_sound, which might not have been included in the EU release. That would probably result in a crash.

Yes, if you can't fix the names, you just delete the game and track down the right version.

@dj_skual my case its very similar as the other tempers. If I install it to nand it throws me an 199-9999 error. I installed it in usb and worked once yesterday. Today it gets stuck at the logo.
