I'm not understanding anything at all. If I download a NON-paid game, will it work? Where do I get the .cert?

Download a app/game with NUSGrabber then the download folder will contain some .app .h3 .cert and .tik files

will i brick if i install mario kart 8 but didnt specify a version

im paranoid ok

NUSGrabber take automatically the latest version, so till it comes from the Nintendo Server (NUS) no risk of brick, if it's a game/app or dlc

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

So for paid games, I dont need the cert (the Wii U adds it)? or do I need to get it from somewhere...

No no no, if you download something and there's no .cert or .tik don't install it will brick

A nice extra would be able to install via network (WiiU server, PC 'client') so we dont have to buy huge SD cards c:

Ahaha :P But it will be much longer ;)

And Wii U have not enough space for big games

People, it is simple, the NUS (nintendo server) will supply the application certification, the Title Installer does the trick by addind the cert to the paid ticket as you have bought it, simple, fast and easy to do it, well someone has got a open cert to write to the wiiu memory the correct cypher to the index title keys inside wiiu memory, this is the trick.

So, use nusgrabber, ger what you want (apps/games) install on hdd/inside memory and voila, you have the same as you got in WII version, BUT this could result in a full banishment from nintendo servers if they find out you are playing games not bought... hehehe.... but... this is just a gues..

That's true :P
And for the earlier message; is there a way to get the cert and tik and such from someone who actually has the game?
that'd allow the WiiU version of /that keys site/ to flourish

According to earlier things, this is untrue; you'd get a brick.

OK now I'm confused. Hold on :P
If I'm downloading a paid game (my example is Wii Fit U), I can install it as long as the tik and cert are there :3

When downloading a title, a .cert and .tik/.tmd should come with if it doesn't then don't install

32gb is the largest you would need.
Speed is the most important thing. (So highest speed sd card = best option)
Installing via a network would be painful.(compared to sd card or usb.)

Man, this is what @NexoCube did, he made a way to install the APPS and GAMES inside the WIIU and authenticate it as VALID BOUGHT item, SO, this doenst brick 5.5.X consoles, this is what he told in his first post!

Overnight install? Batch install perhaps? c:

You do know full titles & DLC eshop games do not come with title.tik files on the download. You cannot install without it.
