I love your emulators. I use both this and the snes9x for 3ds. Thanks for your hard work and dedication.

Probably not the place to ask this but you mentioned dbz rpg 2/3, what is this? Google was no help.

Hey @bubble2k16!
Two questions...
1.- Any chance to have Nestopia palettes on your VirtuaNES?
2.- Any feedback about your progress on the Picodrive port?

Hmm... Nestopia palettes are currently not on my priority. :)

As for Picodrive, I don't have any time now to look at it. I'll probably want to carry over features from Snes9x to VirtuaNES and TemperPCE first, iron out some bugs before I start on Picodrive / Genesis.

Thanks. I'm glad you like it.

I think DBZ RPG is Dragonball Z ()

i hope you work on the updates because playing Starfox2 rom on your emulator is kinda little laggy.i tried.it was around 30 to 20 per second cutscenes & flight scenes.

This is the virtuanes emulator's page, not snes9x. Go to that page for support for that.

Yup. As a side note, if you are using an Old 3DS it's probably going to be very slow. The Old 3DS is already being pushed close to its max without a special chip. With SuperFX, frame rates will definitely tank. You can discuss about this over at the Snes9x 3DS thread.

ok

@bubble2k16 do you plan to release an update for virtuanes in the near future? I want to test some games and would wait for the update.

Yes, I am planning for an update to carry over features from Snes9x 3DS. But I'm currently doing that for TemperPCE first, and fixing a number of bugs that you pointed out (especially those ARM11 crashing ones), and a couple of others.

Any updates to VirtuaNES 3DS may take a while.

Okay, thanks.:)

Hi all, newbie here.

First off I'd like to congratulate the creator, @bubble2k16, for a fantastic job, this is a kick ass emulator.

So now to my real reason I'm here...

I'm trying to create the .chx files but I cant get them to be seen by the emulator and I'm getting a bit flustered. If someone can make them work for me I would really appreciate it!

Cheers!

EDIT: I figured it out. It was Notepad complicating things.

Woot! finally a working NES emulator -v- I'm gonna try it out with some good ol' Darkwing and Ducktales like the Disney freak I am =w=

Yay! v1.00 is released!

Changes include:

- Added key mappings to fast forward (capped at 180 FPS), and open the emulator menu.
- Updated configuration menu
- Added feature to auto-save state
- Migrated and fixed some mappers from VirtuaNESEx (thanks to the authors of VirtualNESEx)
- The following mappers are fixed/added: 4, 7, 16, 23, 34, 47, 49, 52, 65, 69, 71, 73, 74, 86, 91, 92, 121, 132, 141, 148, 150, 162, 163, 166, 167, 168, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 177, 178, 179, 189, 190, 194, 198, 199, 212, 235, 237, 240, 241, 252
- Fixed VS mapper for Super Mario Bros
- Added ability to map any 3DS key to insert coin for VS games
- Fixed Lagrange Point VRC7 emulation for the Old 3DS by playing at 20KHz. The old 3DS was too slow to render sounds at 32KHz or even at 22KHz.
- Minor optimizations for sound generation.
- A number of games are fixed due to the mapper updates. Examples are: Crisis Force (Japan), Feng Yun (Ch), San Guo Zhi (Ch), and many others.

Awesome, congrats on the v1.00 release.
With that many mappers fixed and supported, I wonder what titles are still not working.

A small number of titles I know still don't work:

- Athletic Games and Fire Hawk seems to have some problem. Not sure what is the problem though...

- Rush'n Attack (Europe) version has a tendency to lock up randomly when starting the game. Not sure why... should just use the US version one.

- And some other 3D racing games like Slalom has some got visual artifacts (probably related to inaccurate timing issues), but nothing too- unplayable though.

- Those VS dualsystem games won't work.

- I think a lot of those unlicensed Chinese games don't work. But if anyone has a thing for them, as some members on this forum do, a lot of Chinese games work well too. :)

I only hope I never broke any games that were previously working! :rofl2:

And btw, Merry Christmas to all!!!! :grog::grog::grog:

Impressive stuff! I'm looking forward to trying out Rockman 4 Minus Infinity, as that game does some special heatwave effects on Pharaoh Man's stage.
By the way, the v1.00 download link in the first post is actually still for v0.92

Well, yes it works except I have a hard time clearing half the Pharaoh man's stage. :rofl2: Insane!

R4MI is a really challenging but rewarding game. I recommend starting with Dive Man.

I did a "Hero Score 100" run of the 0.02 release in 82 minutes, super fun game.

Hmmm found some small bugs with the cheats and also some mapper problem with Kabuki Quantum Fighter. Will post a quick fix tonight.

Haha... I totally missed your comment about the link. I've updated the first page. Thanks for pointing out!
