Homebrew [Release] TWLSaveTool v1.0

Not sure how you managed to brick your 3DS. Probably wasn't related to TWLSaveTool. Most folks use it in emunand, though it should function fine in both.

Ill explain what i did:
Turned on the 3DS
Installed the .cia on emuNAND
Backed up a save of AC:WW
Closed the App
Edited the save
when i tried to turn on the 3ds(Well force turn off since for some reason the 3DS didnt shut down), its on blackscreen, no NAND backup(lost in a system restore)

Whichever nand it's tickets are installed to the actual app should be installed to the sd card.

Why do people install unsigned stuff to nand...

I made sure it was on SDCard, im very cautious when installing apps on SD or NAND.

lol. I have modified versions of DevMenu, FBI, and SaveDataFiler that are installed direct to NAND as system titles on my o3DS XL's sysnand and my nand mod isn't functional right now.

Damn it feels good to be a gangster. (insert thug's life song here).

Of coarse it helps that I actually know what I'm doing though. So there's little chance I'll brick it.

Already did, i also tried to go into Recovery mode, no luck.

huh, now i put the 3ds to charge(idk why) my sister turned the 3ds on while charging and it loaded normally

I've seen systems start acting sort of wonky if they're running really low on power...

That could have been the problem, the 3DS turned red the 2-3rd time i tried to turn it on lol

Again, sorry for making you guys worry, its my first time this happened to me and i didnt know what to do.

But at least i didn't make a thread about it lol.

Nope. Nopely nope. It's called TWL Save Tool, sooooo no. It's still very great in that you can back up and restore your original DS cartridge saves.

well it would be better if nds wifi was still around because its not theres no point genning in gen 4 and 5 but its useful if you want to replay the game with out loseing save or just back it up in case some thing happens to the gane

only Poké Transporter and Pokémon Dream Radar have the correct permissions.

if you have a Pokémon Bank subscription, you can download Transporter from within it.

@TuxSH I know this is trivial, but can you add numbering to filename and make it so pressing left/right increases/decreases by 1? This little modification would allow multisaves without reworking the app to add a file selector or more complex solutions like file browsing or having to use ftp/ctrxplorer to rename saves.

i.e.: "Pokemon White-0.sav" up to "Pokemon White-255.sav" ( I guess 256 is more than enough).

if you are in emunand, you can just install the .cia version of TWLSaveTool, then you don't need Dream Radar or Transporter.
