Holy fuck yes! Love the old adventure games! Hats off to you. Thanks for the great work. I can't wait to try out day of the tentacle and Elvira. Many, many thanks for this port.

I just signed in on this website for one thing: THANK YOUUUUUUU Cpasjuste !!!!!!! (heu, Calimero ? ^^)
I don't need to launch VHBL anymore to launch ScummVM !
Thanks, you rocks !

Thank you very much for this port :D I do want to provide a bug report that the Humungous Entertainment games do not seem to work. I tested with Spy Fox 1, Spy Fox 2, and Spy Fox 3. SF1 and SF2 were detected but they both cause the app to crash upon starting them. SF3 was not detected at all. I think that I could provide the error dump from the Vita (I believe it is in the Data folder in the ux0 partition if I am not mistaken) if that would be useful.

I tried Monkeys Island 2, But if i want to start the MI2 File (Monkey2) its greyed out. What Format does the games need to be ?
Since my MI2 File doesnt have any extension....

Hooking upon your post, I've been testing the Freddi Fish series as well.
Can confirm they aren't booting, they just crash the scummVM.

There is a remasterd version released for Vita and it's even a great remaster (not like this terrible ugly thing they call Monkey Island "Special Editions").
With remastered voices (and the original) for english, high res pictures which look really great (unlike the garbage from MI:SE...) and old pictures (you can switch between them during gaming with pressing select) and a circle-menu similar to that from Monkey Island 3 (and of course the old verb menu is available, too. I was surprised that I liked the new menu).
Also it includes audio comments from the creators for amlost every scene/location including the intro (yes including Tim Schafer).
And the best of all the money goes to Tim Schafers new company Double Fine which means the money gets to the right place and not to LucasArts.
Ask your store about Day of the Tentacle Remastered ;)

Just copy the whole content from your diskette in a folder to your Vita...

@VitaType i know how to do.
I already did this with "Bud Tucker in Double Trouble" which works perfect. Problem with Monkeys Island 2 that its only 1 File ? I already unpacked it...

I wouldn't support Tim Shafer. He is known for wasting development money on parties, he more than one instance of screwing gamers out of their money with his projects (SpaceBase, that shitty kickstarter game he made) so if you really want to play those games, I'd stick to ScummVM.

If he left DF though, I'd support it.

If you want to play really good point'n'clicks I'd stick to Telltale games.

I fixed that for you :P

If you liked the old LucasArts games

Fair point. But they also did Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Full Throttle Remastered (if you like this kind of game), The Cave (not bad), Stacking, Psychonauts

Hm, well, Sierra Games seem to work nicely. But all Lucasfilm FM-Towns version crash with some 12828-1 error. Same on many other games, too, f.e. Gobliins, Discworld.... At least working also: Kryanda, Simon, Elvira... 7th guest is sooo slow.... In general: Why is this so slow? Mouse arrow stuttering in game menu...

Great work but please work on FM-Towns compatibility at least....

has anyone gotten far in secret of monkey island? i can get up to the sword training part but trying to fight random pirates afterwards causes the game to crash. im using the dos vga version. dos ega version crashes right away. i know it is still being worked on so just wanted to make sure my copy isnt messed up or anything.

Hi guys,

I did upload a new version, which should fix some games.

At least it fixed 3 games i could test which was causing some problems:
- Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (CD DOS VGA) (flac)
- Full Throttle (DOS, French) (flac?)
- Day Of The Tentacle (CD, mp3)

If you guys can try some non-working games to see.. In any case i'll try to take a look soon to your non-working games for sure. By the way, if a non-working game is a freeware, please send me the link to test.

Thanks !

PS: i can confirm that speech are not working on some games, I'll try to take a look tonight.
