Just rename the vpk to a .zip, extract it, replace the eboot, then zip it up again and rename to .vpk

no need to recompile, lua is just a script language
if you want to edit the vpk, just change the extension from .vpk to . zip, then replace the files inside and done, just rename the file from zip to vpk again and copy it to your vita to install it

its saying that vitashell is installed but its not actually installing it

currently running 3.65 henaku enso

Edit: I got it working, just a heads up, if you corrupt your Vitashell 1.82 install or you accidentally uninstall it, delete ux0: patch/VITASHELL and SOS will work, or you can install the vitashell.vpk from molecularshell

okay i have a question i went to make a BACKUP of VItashell with qcma before i installed vita 1.83 but my vita wants me to sign into PSN and thats it , my vita has never been on PSN so how dose one use qcma ,
EDIT: all sorted I made a fake psn account and done it

Not the same. My PSN account is inaccesible, so anything related to CMA won't work. This is a nice alternative. This version works fine, though, so no real need for an update, but no one knows the future.
