I've just started playing the Mega CD version of Snatcher and while it runs pretty well I've noticed it can take a long time for your action selections (advance, investigate, etc) to appear in some scenes. The graphics and sounds load fine, but the actions can take up to a minute.

So far this has only happened in two scenes, bit each time you go back to that scene it's the same. Any idea why this might happen?

Are you on an N3DS or O3DS?

While I cannot answer for why this might happen I recommend that you check out PicoDrive core for Retroarch. I find that it performs much better on the N3DS than the standalone emulator.
I tried Retroarch but had the same result. Not a huge issue, can always play on my PC Weird though.

Shame on me for the mistake. I meant to say try it using the Genesis Plus core. Works much better for Mega CD games than PicoDrive ... at least in my experience. I’be compressed my isos using CHD and don’t have any slowdown in Snatcher.

Ah, ok. I'll give it a shot.

Hi, i made a forwarder pico driver cia for the The Disney Collection: Mickey and Donald using NSUI, wich came with 2 games in one rom, Castle of Illusion and Quackshot.
The problem is always when a use restart option in pop up menu (when i tap the lower screen on old 3ds xl) it restart the current game and i've never been able to return to title select. How can i do a full shut-down on picodriver emulator or a full-reset with these forwarders? It's possible or only with the standalone emulator? Is there any hotkey or combination to do so?

Do I make the folder called picodrive_3ds as it is not present for me, if so, do I also make a bios folder? I am having trouble getting picodrive to read cd roms is all, maybe because of the file format.

Both this an Temper PCE seem limited on what file formats they will accept, I'd advise using Genesis Plus GX on RetroArch instead.

/3ds/picodrive_3ds/bios/ for Sega CD. Files should be named bios_cd_u.bin, also j and e.

/3ds/temperpce_3ds/syscards/ for Turbo CD. syscard3.pce is the file

Both emulators read bin/cue format.

They however do not support .cue with multiple .bins, which is the default format for Redump.

Hi everyone!
I´ve installed picodrive into my old 3ds xl. All ok with a couple of Megadrive roms wich I tested.

My problem is the next. I have my Megadrive roms in a folder, however I CAN´T change to a different folder to try my Master System roms.

It sounds stupid but I can´t find a solution and I don´t want to have 2 consoles romset mixed in a same folder.

Thanks beforehand and good morning :)

Wow, impressive! I've been on GBAtemp, just lurking around, thought today I should make an account and compliment people for making my gaming experience that much more better!

Hey guys, are there any news about FM sound support in Master System emulation? I have New3DS and the sound by default is PGS.
Also, is there any way to disable 3D effect in Master System 3d games? (not related to 3DS 3D).

For example:
Maze Hunter 3D

*** Disregard the 3D effect, is looks like it can't be disabled by game limitation.

Most 3D Master System games included a 2D mode but not all.
