No active development on Linux for 3DS? Kind of a shame, especially considering DSLinux apparently made more progress.

It's very nice that someone's built a bootable linux for 3ds, but its a shame that it's not particularly usable. I would hope that some whiz will swing by and revive this project with drivers and such, but I suppose that's a big ask for little gain. That aside, a neat project.

I can't seem to get the keyboard to work (blank screen)
What do I do with the ext4 image that ParzivalWolfram gave us?

Currently the environment is very simple, you have Busybox (which "simulates" some programs like ls, cat, top, etc) and Weston (the Wayland compositor) plus a few Weston clients demos.

DOWNLOAD:

(the download link that is here in the original post no longer works)

Installation:

...

This download link (from the 1st post) no longer works, and i can't find another way to get this working. Does someone have an alternative download link?
EDIT: if not an alternative download, does someone have the FIRM from it? that's all i really need lol, trying to use the version Parzival uploaded

You replace the ext4 that you currently have (i think they explained it on page 36, with the prior ext4 update)

I've fixed the broken link (https://github.com/xerpi/linux_3ds/releases).
I'm also trying to port the 3DS port to the latest Linux version in this master branch.

EDIT: Linux 5.9.0-rc5 successfully boots on the 3DS:

I thought latest Linux kernel was 2.6 something lmfao
I know nothing outside XWhiite lmao
Linux 2.6.0 was released on 17 December 2003. Keep in mind Android uses Linux too and the latest Android devices already have something like Linux 5.X.
