so how do i use this? i copy the foldern to the root of the sd card, start the game.. then what?

Asking myself to, never used ntr with latest luma and haven't touched my 3DS for awhile
SO Latest Luma, this cheat copied to SD root (plugin folder)

But how to activate it in game?

First off. Create a folder called plugin on the root of the 3ds
Then create another folder with the correct title id for the region you're using.
Then put the. Plg in that folder.
Launch ntrboot selecter press 3.3 3.4 or 3.6
Launch the game
Press select
Profit.

It says English and I just checked it, it works with at least European English version, too lazy to test others, let's wait for OP.


How is it guaranteed exactly? As for injecting, the values in the memory are at least a little bit off so you can assume that it doesn't work. Gold/Silver have the exact same values for everything, but Crystal has extras, which means you need to make something separate for it.

You did not pay any attention to the patches Nintendo put into place. Nintendo already made the correct patches for Crystal to work, all that is needed to use those patches is to rename the ROM to match the Crystal patch name rather than the Silver or Gold patch name before rebuilding the CIA.

What are you even talking about? Nintendo? Patches? I was talking about the internal addresses and values of the game itself when running, which is what cheats affect and crystal needs a plugin made separately for it because many of the value addresses are different.

You said injecting, so I figured you were referring to the VC patches Nintendo made for Silver and Gold and that the addresses will not match for Crystal when injected into a Silver or Gold VC (as in injecting Crystal without renaming the ROM to use the Crystal patches)

No, I was referring to the addresses in the memory for stuff like each item, each encounter, each badge, etc. which are different internally in Crystal than in G/S.

Excellent work OP! I played Silver when it came out without cheats, but I recently started Gold and given it's more or less the same game I wanted to speed up the experience to get to the things I wanted. This plugin was exactly what I was looking for So thank you very much

I know someone asked this a few pages ago but I'm curious all the same - would you be interested in making something similar for RBY? I know KantoNTR exists but the Blue codes don't seem to work and Yellow wasn't supported, and the developer is no longer working on it.
