"Private Beta Program"
Freely available for anyone to download on the site.
"That's not how it works."
It's exactly how it works. The previously private program is being releases to the public for testing. That's exactly how it works. So please stop flaming.

this is probably off-topic, but I'm pretty sure it's just poking fun at it. also no, it's not how it works, you can't call it a private beta anymore when it's public, even if it was private before.

Im not too sure but I believe it's the same thing the private people received, therfore it is a copy of the private beta. Meaning it hasn't changed.

leaked private beta is not the same as officially releasing it as a now-public beta. the new beta 2 isn't the same as beta 1.

it's private beta #2, so lol he's right. You should've started with that. Lol

I think it's worth posting in this thread too: Gateway's 4.0b allows re-writing to FIRM, and I was able to successfully update to 9.2J (it says 9.1J) using profi200's SysUpdater in GW 4.0b SysNand Mode. Browserhax and menuhax work completely fine, and now I'm in the process of getting A9LH on the system.
About time you got A9LH setup on that JPN N3DS system, guess there was no need for you to buy Freakyforms, though I hope your enjoying it. :P

Hopefully Gateway implements this for others in their TM app and slaps a dragon on it /s.

Yup, I'm really glad this solution finally exists! I'm almost done setting up A9LH on the system, and it's really exciting! (I can finally grab my SecureInfo_A+Xorpads, too, and now I'm uploading my 8.1J NAND+xorpads before the console was ever turned on!)

GW menu on 4.0b seems to be buggy. I used it to dump my copy of Freakyforms Deluxe and it's gamesave and the progress bar had some crazy flickering going on. It still appeared to dump fine, but if you suffer from seizures I wouldn't risk it as the flickering is terrible. Fix this please GW.

Is there any way to boot directly into GW Emunand without their logo intro? Also, is there a way to boot into homebrew using A9LH?

No, but if you figure it out, be sure to let me know.

As for the Homebrew, just download the HBL.cia and install it.

No way to skip the logo, and no A9LH payload of the Homebrew Launcher yet.
Okay, thanks for the replies guys. Also, is there a way to boot into Sysnand if we want to after setting up A9LH?
And, when we install A9LH with Emunand, then, is A9LH installed in Sysnand or Emunand?

A9LH is installed to sysNAND, but note that if you make any new emuNANDs based off your sysNAND after that, those emuNANDs will also have A9LH in them, specifically, in their FIRM partitions. That shouldn't affect how they boot at all, though.

Lol, my menuhax still boots up, to remove menuhax, we just need to change the theme, right?

Yeah, as long as whatever CFW you use supports booting into sysNAND (which they all pretty much do; Gateway nags you before entering it though, and provides no FIRM protection, so keep that in mind).

Whats the use of FIRM protection anyways? xP

You know that A9LH you installed? Well. It's installed there. On o3DS an update will just leave you on stock//vanilla. On N3DS you will brick. Thats why you should never update sysNAND in GW mode.

Edit: Its fine if you just update and use emuNAND.

If you update your SysNAND on Gateway, you will lose A9LH because Gateway doesn't write protect the firm. So don't do it.

Updating EmuNAND is fine, and updating SysNAND using a CFW that does have FIRM protection like Luma or Cakes will also works.
