I'm on sysnand 9.0.0.20u and latest GW emunand with menuhax. Where do I start and what do I skip?

Just use the time machine to get downgraded to 2.1
Then used the otphelper from plailect guide to get otp.bin, decrytp9 to restore my nand and safea9installer
And in 15min i got a9lh installed
Much faster than my other systems

I am tempted to do just that but I am not sure...

Id recommend a9lh because the guide seems to have gotten alot easier to follow with better desc of what you need to do. And since you have o3ds's you shouldnt have much to worry about as long as you follow the guide to the letter.

Gateway does not write protect FIRM.

Good thing i did A9LH already on all consoles
Think i'll stick with Luma3Ds/ReiNand and Cakes.

Is it safe to just use GW Time Machine to downgrade to 2.1, and then go on with the Plailect guide (dumping the otp.bin file with OTPhelper and so on...)? I'm a bit worried about the stability of the GW TM, so has anyone successfully downgraded to 2.1? I have an O3DS with 4.5 sysnand, btw.

Im installing the public A9LH right now (Plailect's guide) and im going to use the GW A9LH.bin payload with the 3.7.1 payload. Its safe?

Copy your emuNAND with emunandtool and your files to your PC or use a fresh SD.

(And format it with SD formatter for erasing the emuNAND partition) and later recreate the emunand with GW and copy anything back.

Can someone just let me know quick I have already asked but no answer. With GW4.0b do you still need your region Time Machine data pack on the route of your sd card before installing this, it mentions nothing in the new instructions thats why i am asking? Thanks

Just convert it to a Rednand and proceed? I did it with a gateway emunand though xD
Just use the plailect guide?? Gateways downgrade and installer is kinda crap rn.

tbh, ive had no luck booting gateway with the a9lh.bin. Black screens for me and others but alot seem to boot up fine. Idk what my 3ds's problem is xD

I think that's probably the usual GW launcher boot problems.

It would be safer to upgrade to 9.2 and then continue with the Plailect guide. https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Update

I have a 9.0.0-20E NAND backup, so I can easily upgrade by restoring the NAND file.

I have confirmed that in another thread. GW payload works fine using luma sysnand 11.0 on their 3.7.1 launcher. Not trying 4.0b for obvious reasons but 3.7.1 is okay.

Can I use the GW downgrader and after that use Luma3DS or something? Because the red cart is now a useless DRM is some way. I just want to have a simple process to downgrade and bring back my EMunand in Updated A9LH updated sysnand.

you should probably use different tools for downgrading(assuming 2.1?), that would be much safer.
