I don't have that issue. Just make sure your client properly disconnects first.
Maybe. What should I use? Currently I use Windows Explorer on my tablet and ES File Explorer on my phone and both have this issue with every branch of ftBrony.

I'm just using the FTP client built into Caja. FileZilla should work on Windows, you might have to tweak the options, though.

It seems to only connect if I start the FTP connection at the exact moment when the wireless LED is blinking...

Nice! There's an issue that's already in ftBrony, maybe you can look into it?

I'm using ftBrony / FTP-3DS from Ninjhax v1.1 (N3DS) and using Windows Explorer as FTP client. If I want to exit, I press B on the 3DS, but nothing happens. I first need to F5 refresh Explorer, then I can properly exit ftBrony / FTP-3DS. Also read more about this issue here.

Any ideas on how to solve that?

Okay. So FileZilla for Windows. Any suggestions for Android?
I use Turbo FTP on Android it works well apart from when you finish transferring titles you have to switch your phone off or ftbrony won't let you exit it on the 3ds.

Thanks, I solved it using ES file explorer and closing it before closing FTP-3DS.
On a side note I'm really waiting for bottom screen picture loading from SD.

Disconnect the client first.

Yeah, but that is exactly what is so tedious and what I think should work differently.
Well, tough. There's a reason it was implemented. You should generally safely unmount things first. It's there to make sure everything else goes smoothly. You don't want a corrupted file or partition table.

Couldn't that be insured from 3DS FTP / ftBrony? Meaning, on pressing B the first time, unmount stuff, pressing B the second time leave to HB menu.

Just open recent app in Android and swipe away the Turbo window and you can back out on 3DS. ;)

Just throwing that one, but could you add proper theming for the CIA version (banner/icon/name)?
Nevermind, already did this myself :). @iamevn, you've got a pull request on Github. Everyone else, properly themed CIA is attached, if you want it!

Does anyone know of an iOS client for this that allows managing the SD card and viewing its file system?

If so, which app and which settings need to be used?

So far, I have tried this with Transmit (with passive mode enabled and disabled), the correct IP, and the correct port, but the iPad app always comes up with an error saying that it cannot load the file system. I also tried sending a screenshot to the 3DS SD card and creating a folder called "test," but these things did not work either.
