Prediction of the year. (I know it wasn't a lawsuit, but I knew Ninty would do something involving freeShop.)

For homebrew apps like FreeShop, friends will only be able to see it if they have it installed as well, otherwise they will just see "Could not acquire this software's title." Nintendo are effectively unable to see if people are using FreeShop, and no-one will ever be banned for using FreeShop.

Not true. On my old 3DS I have Freeshop installed. On my New 3DS XL I have absolutely no homebrew installed. When I load homebrew like BootNTR or FreeShop or CIAngel etc. on my old 3DS, I can see the titles on my New 3DS XL (because they're both on each other's friend lists.) I can also see homebrew apps when people I've Street Passed use them.

it's the opposite, check if your new 3ds xl can see homebrew running on your old 3ds.

Strange. I've never heard of this happening. Are you sure that you've never hacked your N3DS in any way? What system version is it on? 11.2.0? I'll ask some friends of mine to check if they also get "Could not acquire this software's title."

I don't know how many themes you can have but even just 1 download is 240+ too many to operate. You will receive error.
Download it once and delete. It will leave the tickets so you can download themes from theme manager.

You can only have up to 100 themes installed as .cia at a given time, be them official or not. Having any more of 100+ will cause the system to panic and force you to delete themes until you have 100 or less left.

With CHMM2 though, themes aren't installed and you can get the official ones decrypted to be able to use them just fine, no limits whatsoever. So that's what i use. Plus community themes >>>>>>>> Nintendo's. They're just too plain/simple.

Freeshop only has what the eshop does. So no Romhacks/cartridge-only games will ever be up there.

While I thank you for this, I wouldn't say it's a good idea to directly link to it. It got DMCA'd for a reason, not a good idea posting it here directly. Could give reason for Nintendo to follow us here (not like they probably have enough reason to already though I guess, but not a good idea to jinx it).

Have also attached the source code and cia below.

Creating another repository on github is asking for it to be taken down.
You should seriously consider using (non USA based if possible) other git repositories.
