I think you always need at least double the space due to needing room on your sd card for both the cia and its installed form at the same time.

I don't think you do, what's the error?

For me I have retail carts of SSB and I want the DLC for it without downloading the SSB from freeshop :P It would be nice if we do have that feature
Yeah, I'll be adding the cart to the game list eventually along with any system titles that have DLC (like home menu's themes). So then you'll have to put in the game cart and download using the list.

We have the same situation. I have an 8GB sd card with 2GB left of free space and tried to install a title that's 1.2GB in size but gives an error after downloading at 100%. Tried some titles with smaller sizes and they installed fine.

Oh and thanks for this wonderful app Cruel.

aw sweet! cant wait to get sum nice callie and marie themes :P

Well i dont know how it happend or how to reproduce it myself but i thought i may better post it anyways. While using freeshop i got this crash message (2.0.3) without doing anything. Ive installed and deleted an update 5 minutes ago but there everything went fine. Then while browsing and just listening to the wii shop theme it just stopped and this error message popped up.

Would I need a private header or something like this for games downloaded from the freeShop?
Or could I just download, never play the game online and be good?

You can download and play online all you want, no private headers required. So far there have been zero instances of bans due to using FreeShop or playing games online that were downloaded with it.

To add to that... Digital games don't have headers like physical games (or .3ds images). Nintendo could have easily implemented a phone home upon connecting to a network to check if the digital titles you have been playing are owned on your account but it doesn't seem they ever did. That would be a pretty big ban hammer if they did!

I keep getting a "Failed to finalize Tmd install: 0xF9608022" which I see isn't the same as the "Failed to Initialize tmd install:" error.
What's going on?

Also, I got one game to download, but then it failed to install, and subsequent games that were queued failed to finalize Tmd.

Sounds like installation state for messed up somehow. Would help to know what the first error was when install failed, but you probably don't have it. Try rebooting console and trying again. And what CFW are you using?
