Yea, I just found that as well, I should contact them or change it out.
I'll contact them! I bet you they'd want to see it in game. As someone who's spent over 50 hours writing for characters, its very satisfying to see your content come to life.

fight me, i'll bite your feet >:c

that is disgusting.

Anywho. I'm about to get to work on drawing characters in fates style (found a tutorial) are there any characters in fates that have similar model structure to older characters? Some characters I really was considering were well, mainly from Tellius, as those are the current games I'm working through. In order of preference: Marcia, Oscar, Jill, Astrid and Ilyana.

Actually, my plan for my next character is a Manakete, maybe Tiki or Nowi, I'm hoping to make a Manakete class too.

Nowi and Tiki won't even require me to do much drawing, I can probably whip that up very quickly.. I'll just need to grab their Awakening portraits and make slight edits.

Gaiden's Alm, maybe.
Hm...
Leif, Shiva?
Quite a few potential things!

Noted, though I haven't really played through Gaiden (I know, I'm trash) or many of the pre GBA games, so I'd like to stick to what I know for now. Plus, If I need to write supports at some point, I'd rather have characters I'm familiar with.

Haha, Alm would be able to fit the Dread Fighter class comfortably is why I mentioned him~
Okay, post-SNES then...
Perceval/Karel/Geitz/Pent/Seth/Ephraim/Mia/Haar/Navarre
...Those are my suggestions, welp.

All portraits are 256x256 for standard and 128x128 for close up portraits, they need to be centered.

The reason why they may be missaligned ingame is because the FSID block for these characters contains positional values for portraits and other stuff like the blush and sweat position.

I don't really have everything mapped out yet so your best bet is to poke around the values and see what works for now.

The hair color is supposed to be in the FSID somewhere too, right?

EDIT: Well, I messed with Lyndis' FSID enough to make the game crash, does that count as progress?

This is the mapping for ST blocks, for BU blocks just replace any ST refference with BU and vise versa, the Hair Color for the map sprite is listed on both, but I think the BU one is the one that actually affects the map sprites.

And that's the FaceData...bin.lz in the face folder, correct? That picture confuses me because the actual DLC file is so much larger then that suggests.

yes, and well, of course the file would be much larger, it contains more than one block, at minimum there should be 2 blocks per character, one for ST and one for BU
