Man, you guys. You're criticizing him for releasing something that isn't functional in any way? The best way to learn how to program is to just make all sorts of random stuff and try flexing the grey matter. He's learning programming through 3DS homebrew, and what he makes at first may not be the most useful stuff, but it's something and it's better than nothing.

Don't hate on him for trying. Programming is not a cakewalk, trust me.

Very cool, don't know why that one user seems to think this app is a static image when it very clearly is not. Keep up the good work, keep learning and keep sharing, for every hater, there will be plenty more cheering you on and interested to see what you've created.

Huh? So displaying animated images in screen is easier than a number converter?

Ok, then. I find it harder to understand how to do this than a number converter.
Making this would actually be pretty easy. Just have a number increasing every frame, and then drawing a square on the corresponding tile. An rng would determine what color it is, and boom. Basically what this homebrew is. Making a number converter at least requires some basic math.

Well, it's easier for you. But not for everyone. I don't understand this at all. I could write the code for converting between dec, hex, oct, and binary in C++ right now, but I would need to research a lot for understanding how to do this, not because it's hard it seems, but because I don't know a bit about it.

So, this basically is criticizable depending on your previous knowlege about the matter, then.

What about tile size and layout? And if it were done every frame, the screen would be covered in less than half a second, you'd have to make it skip a few frames so the animation isn't instantaneous. Additionally, you'd have to figure out how to draw them to the screen with a library - which screen to select as well - and implement buttons to return to the Homebrew Launcher. You'd also have to make sure that your RNG returns proper values so you don't have a crash as well. It's not that simple!
