Im on a new 3ds, thats why its recovery 14

That's quite strange its working fine for me on n3ds xl.

Here's mine config if it helps, Ive put the a9lh bins in a separate folder called a9lh.

Sorry cant be of much help

EDIT: Not sure if it changes anything but try changing the recovery key....
EDIT2: So I tried your config kept loading bootloader, I changed the recovery key to 2 it worked, so I guess that is the problem n3ds keys, try using the o3ds keys for recovery

yes for both questions.

You know where it says recovery = 14
the number 14 is causing the problem change it to something else

Out of pure curiosity, can it load HBL .3dsx? Or the loaded file has to be a ".bin" file?

i just like right now figured it out, i cant use n3ds especifc buttons, i change it to d-up (6), and it autobooted.
this is strange, because i used to use it for the menuhax version.

i cant use zl or zr on a n3ds to recovery button or it will not autoboot, is it fixable?

just set it as 8 (R) thats what I use

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'm trying to set it to auto boot (which it does!) and some how am not able to launch the binary for Decrypt9 that launches perfectly fine, it does not use/recognize the key press when I hold it it boots directly to cfw....

I've tried to set it to R (8), and Start (3) but nothing seems to override it! Only the Select button works that brings me to the menu upon system power up...

I couldn't find the source but I sent him the a9lh file

It's the same main cakes source, not a branch like rxtools. After compiling the source there will be a "main.bin" inside the build folder. That's the arm9loaderhax.bin
