Been awhile since I've used this. So I updated to CHMM 2.5 (had 1.x previously I think... ). Problem is, after hitting power button to initialize, I see this error:

"Error: [string "?"]:327: cannnot initialize Sound module". I can still enable the FTP server feature, but all other options after this exit the program. This was the CIA build I attempted to use. Any fix planned for this? Was using this on 9.2 sysnand (o3DS XL)

Q) I get "cannot initialize Sound module" error when using CIA/3DS version, how can i solve?
A) You need a DSP firmware (dspfirm.cdc) to use CHMM2 as CIA/3DS version. You can dump it using DSP Firmware Dumper, uncart, braindump or Decrypt9.

lol. Seems I missed that. :P

EDIT: Where the hell does this file go? Dumped it. Put it on SD root. Still get the error. Moved it to Themes folder. No go. Still shows the sound error.... :(

Instructions on where this file should go needs to be more clear on the first post.

EDIT2: Read the previous page. Someone else had this issue. Appearently I'm suppose to just leave it in the 3DS folder where the DSP dumper left it. (I shall suggest this file be placed in themes folder. The cfg file is already there, so that would be an obvious alternative to where it should go)

I would like the file to be in Themes folder. Unless there's a good reason for it to be in the 3ds folder? There's other homebrew that uses it? Seems only the CIA build uses it. :P

Ctrulib looks for it there by default, and it also enables CIA homebrews to have access to the DSP (without a firmware they can't use it).

CHMM2 has suddenly stopped working for me. I've been using it for a while and it's been fine, but now all of a sudden I just can't install any themes. It says "Installing theme.." and gives no error, but when I return to the Home Menu it's just blank. This happens both with the CIA version and the .3dsx. Any ideas?

Edit: Found the issue. Cleared MenuHax extdata by holding X and choosing Delete in MenuHax Manager. CHMM did say MenuHax mode was on. Can't even imagine why since it has been working earlier and I don't know what I could have changed, but oh well. Works now.

Are you installing the custom theme over a default theme or over a paid (or free :P) one?

I'm having issues.

How do I use custom themes with this program on my EMUNAND?

my set up:

New Nintendo 3DS XL. SysNand is 9.2U and has CTRBootManager with Reinand and HBL in its menu).

Reinand is on 9.2U as well and has no BootManager installed. (I can manually change themes in ReiNand and stuff).

I boot Homebrew from the installed .CIA on the Reinand Home Menu and then boot CHMM2.5. Install the themes and they won't show up.

Does it say "MenuHax mode: ON" in CHMM2 like I mentioned above?

Q) CHMM2 doesn't install properly my theme and it says Menuhax Mode: ON when i'm not using it, what can i do?
A)You must delete menuhax cache files from emuNand with menuhax_manager.

It does not.

Did that. I first uninstalled menuhax on my emunand by changing themes on the Home Menu. Then went into menuhax_manager 2.2 (Through emunand's homebrew), clicked "Delete" (With X button pressed to delete the extdata cache files) and still no use.
