Update: The issue which I posted earlier of sm4sh in 1.7.2 (1-3fps on matches) only occurs in Classic mode. It's pretty good in Free-for-all.

Do graphic packs actually work with Paper Mario CS? Cant seem to see any difference with them on or off (it does does say YES under "Active" in the menu).

So today I had a crazy thought about reducing gpu bandwidth,
for instance GIFs use a collection of images to create a animation but even
with jpeg compression they take up more space than a h264 compressed mp4, i'm probably
completely wrong but I believe this is because video files use a difference table or mask between frames
so they only store the differently coloured pixels between frames rather than storing every frame as a brand new image, I was wondering if a similair method could be used for games to update the framebuffer.

First you would have to have the images to convert to a video.
Then you'd have to encode it ¿on the fly?
And only then you could send them to the framebuffer...

Theoretically, I think it COULD be done, but in practice you'd have to have some other kind of hardware which wouldn't make this solution usefull...

so far - cemu was steadily improving
- now you have got theory based on patreon income - that Cemu definitely would break development !!

then if 2 month later BOTW - doesnt show any improvements - we all recognize your great prediction

to be honest I don't care what the hell they edit or remove because, thus far, the emulator has been making faster progress than any other emulator I've ever seen, by far, it took Dolphin waaaay longer to get to a comparable state. I'd say the dev has earned benefit of the doubt, the fact that he got Zelda to launch less than a week after release is astounding.

let's say you're 90% right and 10% wrong, and the cemu dev team sees your blatant response to their hard work, would that make you feel like shit ?
you have no knowledge or basis of your claim, emulation is not an easy task, so you're crying cause you can't play botw on 60 fps yet, regression can often happen, look at citra's git as an example.
so hold off your claims until time passes, if people actually notice a pattern with the new builds, the hyper will be gone anyways and they will lose the patreons, so your claims aren't helping anybody, we're not stupid as you think we are, we just don't jump to baseless conclusions and know how dev process goes.
