Hey guys, I bring good news for owners of AMD 5-6XXX series graphic cards. With Catalyst 15.6 drivers skybox is displayed perfectly, in both Windows 7 and 10. Here's the proof:

btw seems it's a single issue where we can notice it

it's a pity it doesnt discard a super brightness in Xenoblade
though i already decided to buy Nvidia card very soon (only for Xenoblade)

because despite we can play with radeon 5-6 xxx series - almost normal
i checked ProceXP (loading of CPU and GPU) and have seen the GPU works sometime to 95% .. so it's really weak point

my specs
AMD Phenom X4 (overclocked to 3.8)

When will we have a version of cemu that will correct the problem with this adapter? I really want to play Smash with the GC control.

getting random texture flickering in alot games now though
New Super Mario Bros U + New Super Luigi U, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD etc
even with Gpu texture accuracy set to high.
This is noted as a known issue on the Patreon page actually.
When will we have a version of cemu that will correct the problem with this adapter? I really want to play Smash with the GC control.
Same problem, I hope they add this support in next version
Cemu should support pretty much any controller that uses Xinput, (like most PC games with controller support these days) I've also personally used PS3, xbox360, and Wii U Pro controllers in Cemu. At this point I'm sure theres some switch or driver/wrapper that allows this to be used as a Xinput in Cemu/for PC games that only support Xinput.

So I found a little guide after googling "maylash gamecube adapter xinput" for using the Gamecube adapter/controllers as Xinput instead of Dinput-
  1. Plug in the adapter and controllers. If it's Mayflash, switch to WiiU mode.
  2. Download and install the unofficial drivers from here: http://m4sv.com/page/wii-u-gcn-usb-driver. Follow the instructions on that page carefully. There are additional instructions for Windows 8.
  3. Download x360ce from here: https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce.
  4. Extract x360ce to the game's install folder. You must do this for every game that is only compatible with xinput controllers.
  5. Run x360ce. It will want to automatically download a controller mapping from a database. Allow it to do so, then change any mappings as you please.
  6. Play the game.

anyone currently playing the wind waker out there ? is it also same black screen when viewing photo through album >?
Yes. You cannot use the pictures as they dont store the information properly. They use the same function that makes the Wii U text load up for example the loading screen in smash bros and the stamp message on Mario kart 8.

i checked ProceXP (loading of CPU and GPU) and have seen the GPU works sometime to 95% .. so it's really weak point

I don't believe that. My HD 5770 usage (stock frequency) is between 30% and 55% in the first level of SM3DW with constant 60fps. With Phenom II X6 @ 3.8Ghz. Although I haven't tested Xenoblade, maybe for Xenoblade it reaches higher gpu usage.

By the way, 1.6.4b cuts my fps to half, fps tops at 30 and GPU usage stays at 0%... tested with SM3DW and MK8. With 1.6.4 I get almost double frames per second.
EDIT: a while later, 1.6.4b runs at the same fps than 1.6.4. I can't find the cause of the earlier difference, but I tested multiple times and 1.6.4b always run a lot slower than 1.6.4.

I am getting this since 1.6.3. No matter what I do, mario kart will freeze 100% of the time after 15-20 seconds. Here is the latest crash log to help investigate. I have a 1070 with the latest drivers on Windows 7.

actually in other games - it's really about 30-50% ... sometimes pops up to 60-70
but for X - it sometimes jump to 90% especially when rotating camera

hmm i didnt notice the 1.6.4b halved FPS // speed of MK8 seems the same .. 36-45 fps // banana cup - first stage - for example

there is a folder shadercache .. may be this is a reason, new cemu has to make cache again

What phenom x4 do you have? that is an insane OC speed for the first generation of phenoms
usual Phenom X4 3.0 Ghz
i upped the Bus frequency of motherboard to 254 from 200

saying honestly - this is option bad for PC games, often reboots, though cemu works almost fine // if decrease to 244 then all ok // it still summary 3625 Ghz

p.s.
you have to use good memory and make it all auto in BIOS settings
mine is Super Talent 8Gb 1600 / 7*8*7

and what does that tell you? you don't need a beefy GPU for most games, since you can't change resolution or AA level or anything like that, anything above a 750 ti is an overkill for most games, and even so, games like SM3DW and MK8 literally "tickles" most half decent GPU's...
also consider that cemu still improving so i wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of months you may be able to run most compatible games with decent performance, but i wouldn't wait for it either...

Asking the developers to include support for old opengl is like asking them for an update that will be good for Intel GPUs. Don't expect it like, ever.

If you are using ddr3 ram, then you have a phenom II x4 and not the first generation of them.

The first gen phenoms barely scratched the 3ghz clock speed (only with some motherboards that suported acc for amd chipset and nvcc for nvidia chipset).

I have a phenom x4 9750 and i just manage to get it to 3ghz recently, but have to take it back to 2.7ghz due to problems with a couple of my ram sticks.

@Exzap Will CEMU support local multiplayer online? I mean for example being able to play mario 3D world with my friends online (or over lan using hamachi, tunngle etc..)? if that's possible I'd definitely be a patron with my friends !

Just got back to Cemu but I can't get a game to run at all. Cemu has always worked from the first versions till the last one I tried a few months back.
I tried a couple of games, like MarioKart8 and SuperMario3DWorld. Correct keys. They launch for a couple of seconds and then cemu.exe stops working. With MarioKart8 I can see the starting screen before it crashes.

I got MarioKart8 to run once. At the starting menu on 60 FPS, along with 20 FPS in the demo.

Intel Core i5 3.2 GHz --> only 50% usage.
NVIDIA GeForce 710M --> settings: Using powerful NVIDIA processor.

Even with sound disabled and at low accuracy, still no luck.
Help.. :(

    @Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

    Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
