Cakes doesn´t show an indicator like rxtools or reinand. Just create folders and name them with single letters like "s y s" and "e m u" so you know when you are in sysnand.
Actually I just noticed that when I'm on Health and Safety, it says FBI. Is that an indicator that I am on Emunand?

just grabbed the newest nightly and the super stable 3ds fix works great, thanks.

it actually seems to work better than doing the close and open trick

Stable 3D fix is very nice.

Kinda got used to it from non-init AuRei, but having it for normal entrypoints is nice, too.

@mid-kid

From my understanding, decryption does not work when a9lh is launched atm. Cakes should be initiated @9.2 before installing a9lh, or for a9hl users, under 9.2 emu/sys nand via aurienand. Can you verify this?

Quick question : Does Cakes protects FIRM writes when loaded with arm9loaderhax on SysNAND ?
(Just want to know if that's safe to update SysNAND or not on >9.2 with it).

I don't believe so.
Such a patch could probably be written as a .cake, but considering the format for them is being redone by mid-kid, I'm not sure we'll get an official one until that's done.

Cakes can't decrypt, but the only thing that's relevant for is generating firmkey.bin from cetk.
If firmkey.bin already exists, it'll load fine.

Running the 3dsx from a 9.2 on 9.0 FIRM will generate one, yes (I've tested this myself)

Right, so best thing to do in the mean time is to either update with sysUpdater making sure to delete the NATIVE_FIRM .cia, or use AuReiNand to update then switch back to Cakes.

Personally, I have AuRei and Cakes both set up on my card, so if I wanted to update I'd swap the arm9loaderhax.bin.
Sysupdater without native_firm may work, but I've never tried.

You could use CtrBoot for A9LH. That way you could put a trigger to boot AuRei instead of Cakes when you need it :)

Sorry for asking but how would I run cakes on a9lh? The latest nightly doesn't include the arm9loaderhax.bin so do I rename the cakes.dat to this? Thanks for the help.
