Cakes does not have a custom indicator like that. But if I was using the Emunand wouldn't there be some sort of indicator in the System Settings, like a 'Cakes' or something next to the firmware version?

Actually I just noticed that when I'm on Health and Safety, it says FBI. Is that an indicator that I am on Emunand?Cakes doesn´t show an indicator like rxtools or reinand. Just create folders and name them with single letters like "s y s" and "e m u" so you know when you are in sysnand.
Can you open it?Actually I just noticed that when I'm on Health and Safety, it says FBI. Is that an indicator that I am on Emunand?
Or alternately you can have different themes on emunand and sysnandBut if I was using the Emunand wouldn't there be some sort of indicator in the System Settings, like a 'Cakes' or something next to the firmware version?
His nands are still linkedOr alternately you can have different themes on emunand and sysnand
I know. I meant if he decides to unlink themHis nands are still linked
ya it has gotten rid of the only thing really making me want to do the a9l stuffStable 3D fix is very nice.
Kinda got used to it from non-init AuRei, but having it for normal entrypoints is nice, too.
I don't believe so.Quick question : Does Cakes protects FIRM writes when loaded with arm9loaderhax on SysNAND ?
(Just want to know if that's safe to update SysNAND or not on >9.2 with it).
Cakes can't decrypt, but the only thing that's relevant for is generating firmkey.bin from cetk.@mid-kid
From my understanding, decryption does not work when a9lh is launched atm. Cakes should be initiated @9.2 before installing a9lh, or for a9hl users, under 9.2 emu/sys nand via aurienand. Can you verify this?
Right, so best thing to do in the mean time is to either update with sysUpdater making sure to delete the NATIVE_FIRM .cia, or use AuReiNand to update then switch back to Cakes.I don't believe so.
Such a patch could probably be written as a .cake, but considering the format for them is being redone by mid-kid, I'm not sure we'll get an official one until that's done.
Personally, I have AuRei and Cakes both set up on my card, so if I wanted to update I'd swap the arm9loaderhax.bin.Right, so best thing to do in the mean time is to either update with sysUpdater making sure to delete the NATIVE_FIRM .cia, or use AuReiNand to update then switch back to Cakes.

Sysupdater without native_firm may work, but I've never tried.
Uh yeah... What about homebrew launcher?Does someone know if there's another option to load Decryp9 then using this? http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/go
