Hmm, you lost me there hehe

What I really want to do is to be able to run Pasta 1.2.1 or similar from HBL.
DevMode from rxTools is similar, but booting directly into pastamode would be faster than booting into rxTools, go into Advanced menu and launch DevMode.

Now Cakes can boot into Sysnand, but if it has Firmlaunch it can brick your 3DS if you attempt to use sysupdater.

I'm using a 9.2 O3DS

Thanx
This is just what you're looking for.

I tried it inside HBL and it just returns to HBL.
I'm using Ninjhax 2.1b
It's supposed to replace your hbl. Because it is HBL (with a side of pasta - press X).
Edit, if you're using themehax set to auto, you have to hold a button to get back to home menu in pasta mode.

My themehax is set to normal.

I booted your boot.3dsx by pressing A inside HBL, it returned to HBL and then I pressed X and it booted to Sysnand.
So, if I used this with sysupdater, it would be safe?

Thanx for your help

Yes, that's a clean pasta with no firmlaunch or emunand.
I assume since you're on 9.2 you want to downgrade. Pretty dangerous thing to do. (I would instead use Gw's downgrader, it's very reliable)

Not to downgrade, but if ever I need to use sysupdater to upgrade to a higher version I can use this with Ninjhax 2.1.

Is there another clean pasta version w/o the HBL that works with Ninjhax 2.1?

I guess I can make a stand alone. Give me a bit.

UPDATE (21 June 2015): VERSION 1.3 (beta7)!!!
-Moved the GUI code to arm9
-UI completely redesigned
-Added config app inside the CFW_Launcher: you can edit settings without the companion, directly on your 3DS!
-Added Nand Dumper!
-Added ARM9 dumper interface
-Added FIRMLAUNCH!
<------
...

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Alright! I found the answer...
To make sure Firmlaunch is DISABLED, you boot the above Pasta version while pressing L.
Inside the menu, you go right to Options...
Make sure Enable FirmLaunch is set to NO.

:grog:

Well I guess I should have looked haha sorry about that, so pasta isn't dead then good luck

With Themehax + HBL, I no longer need to use CN
When I want to play games (cias), I use MSET 4.x and boot into rxTools (latest f/w version on emunand). This method is more stable than autobooting into rxTools.
When I want to run HBL (Decrypt9, FBI, Pasta), I press L while booting and select the app.

Essentially, I have the best of both worlds

My only question is why is this on the cakes thread

ya, deeply sorry about that
I originally wanted to know how to disable FirmLaunch inside Cakes

I guess you can't

I think mid-kid said something about firmlaunch not being used on sysNAND (I might not be right on that) if I could get my 3ds running again I'd test as I have a NAND mod

themehax with 2.5 payload has an extremely small possibility to boot up cakes.3dsx.
browserhax and ninjhax didn't get impact.
