Important notice

For personal reasons, I have decided to discontinue the application.
I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but I hope you will be able to understand my decision as well.
Thanks!

dammit these downloaders are on every platform ffs just put one on the wii u. if i knew more about making these homebrews i'd do it myself lmao

but good job, this actually looks pretty useful

Is this building up to the grand release of "Wii U USB Helper U"? ;)
Unfortunately porting the app to the WiiU would be too much work.
In fact I am able to reuse a lot of code on this android app which saves me a lot of time and allows me to get something working very quickly , but I would be forced to rewrite almost everything for the WiiU. With almost no debugger, developing on the WiiU is a nightmare compared to this!

Now THIS is SEXY I am definitely giving this a try! Thanks for the cool applications:D

yes I have been waiting patiently for an android version of wiiu usb helper after my pc broke a few days ago. This will do nicely until I get paid in February and can buy a new pc.

This is exactly what i was thinking when i 1st saw your initial app!

What are your thoughts on Larger File Size and why couldny we use this for Full WiiU Games?

Id love to help you test this, contact me!

been ages since ive worked on a project, last was with GiantPUNE and bitsBUBBA on wiiFlow/ps3FLOW...

I have several rooted android devices, let me know..

*cri*

Honestly, though, that's kind of unfortunate. What's preventing you from reusing most of the code? GX2 functions?

I understand you completely. Nevertheless I think you're one of the only few guys who could ever make such a thing like what the freeshop is on the 3DS. In fact it's nothing but your Windows tool but "only" on the console. Needs title keys as well and handles everything else.

However that's just a wish and I understand that Wii U development is a pain in the *ss and although I'll probably never use your GO app (it looks freakin' great though!) I'm really really loving "Wii U USB Helper" for Windows which I'm using all the time! =)

Hello everyone!

I am here to present my latest project, USB Helper GO!

Please note it's still in development so there is no release yet, but I just wanted to let you know it's coming :) (Don't ask for a release date, I don't know when I will have the time to complete it!)

All the screenshots here are taken from the development build and may not reflect what the final version will look like.

I am sure many of you are familiar with my application Wii U USB Helper, which is kinda of an eShop clone for your computer. It's very convenient but have you ever wanted to get a small game like a Virtual Console and didn't want to turn on your computer just for that?
Well WiiU USB Helper GO! is here to make your life easier !
Just grab your android phone or tablet and get your favorite game super easily!

How does it work?

Simply look for the game you want with the built-in search feature:

You then have access to some information about your game :

And then just click on download and voilà!

The games will be transferred to the WIIU via wi-fi (USB Helper Transfer tool required), your system will be automatically detected by the app which will then initiate the transfer :)

I certainly won't recommend to download big titles this way (use the desktop app for this) but it should work just fine with small games.

That's it for now, it's far from being completed but tell me what you think!

Why not just make one app for the WiiU?

Unfortunately developing on the WiiU can be very time consuming since it's not very documented and only offers very poor debugging capacities. It's far easier for me to develop on these platforms since I can share most my code between the different versions. I can debug and test the code very quickly and easily too. Considering the limited amount of time I can dedicate to these projects, this is the only solution for me to provide you with something to use. So sorry, but not Wii U Version !

Thanks :)
Great work as always @Hikari06

Maybe add "android app" somewhere in the title

Are you "you" again?
Yeah it's me lol. That was a surprise to wake up to. I'm glad someone "liked" one of those posts so I could change my password.

Good thing I only used the same password on here as well as that iso site. Nowhere else.
