No. It just changes the version string in the settings menu using Luma's built in custom version string loader. The title is misleading.

I planned to port it to all CFW's for the next update, it will. Just give me the time to work on.
Also I told it was litterally Custom Version Setter but a bit modified, for the moment.

It don't have any real use, as mentionned "just-for-fun".

That's a shame.

You could trick the PSP into not upgrading the firmware by changing this number. I thought it would be the same with 3DS but alas...

its a lil hard to explain why it doesnt work like you think but i dont have all the answers ask around the forums for the answer but in a simple vauge way, theres a list of all titles installed (system ones and app/game) what vers is latest what is newer (upon update check) and what is outdated. for example if you use dthe old method to get say an AK2i to loadbefore the twl patches, was to downgrade the DSCart blacklist when your 3DS does it Update check it sees theres a miscompare between what is latest of that system title on Nintendy's server and what you have installed and will prompt you to do a System update (this can be confusing as it misleads people to think theres a new FW update when there isnt and all it does is update the outdated title) and w/ a previous update Arm9 is involved in preventing downgrades easily. (hardcoded list of minimum title versions at the time of teh FW, so think of when 11.5 comes out the update will also change that "list" of the new minimum versions to what is in 11.5)

thats about how i can Try to explain it, but i can almost bet i got something wrong or far off myself.

to back on track, i do like the ease of this to use to just set it for "Luma Nightly (then FW vers#)" since i perfeer using nightlies over stable

Uh, the symbols reduce the max length size because they are bigger in the .txt, so put them at the first places of your text. Try "(A) 3DSpoof (A)" replace (A) by symbols

You don't understand the description? It's simple hovewer: it allow you to display a custom string in the Settings system version. It's basically a feature from Luma3DS but this app make it easier to edit it.

You got it it can handle the sys and 4 emu NAND in simultaneous. Actually it works only under Luma3DS but I'll port it to ReiNAND and all majors others CFW soon.

I have to implement a "cancel" button on the keyboard, but if you open it and then don't want to apply the text, just put something random, hit ok and then "Remove all custom versions" on the 2nd line of the menu, which will remove all the customized versions.
