Hacking Regionthree not working for me?

Hey, I am trying to play a USA Pokemon Omega Ruby on my European original 3DS
I downloaded the launcher.dat and put it on my SD card (in the root)
The game card shows up (even though it shouldn't from what I understand) and then I open Download Play
I press the home button, and open the browser..nothing happens
So I type url go.scmods.com like I see in many Youtube videos..and nothing happen
Was the exploit fixed, I did something wrong, or the site is just down? Google failed me - if it was already fixed I guess many people would ask this too, but no results
So I guess i'm doing something wrong?

did you try booting the gamecard the showed up?

Delete cookies in the browser.
After conecting to the address you should see some text on the black screen.
You just wait and the game should boot automaticly.

I tried it, I deleted history and cookies and even reset the Internet Browser by deleting all data
Still nothing, web site is not loading, the 3DS just shows "communication error"

if your firmware is between 9.0 and 9.4
Follow this

• Download Launcher.dat from the repo (or compile it yourself) :https://github.com/smealum/regionthree/raw/master/Launcher.dat
• Copy Launcher.dat to the root of your SD card
• Insert the game you want to run into your 3DS and power it up
• Open the "Download Play" application
• Hit the home menu button, but do not exit the Download Play application (keep it running in the background)
• Open the Web Browser applet
• Go to Gateway's exploit page (not linking directly to it here because not a fan of their whole piracy thing they've got going)
• Wait a few seconds; screen should turn black and after a bit your game should boot up !
