Homebrew Region change question

So im debating changing region on my 2ds with this but im not fully convinced

If i switch, for example, from EU to USA, can i later change back to EU if i want to?

Thank you for your answer! I have another question tho. If i restore a NAND backup, will that fix the reboot patch problems?

Ive been told that if i region change, my reboot patch gets damaged and some games like MH4U, Smash and Pokemon US/UM crash if i use the home button
