You should read some reviews here and check the flash cart forums.

But right now the Cyclo Evolution and Acecard 2 seem to be the most popular. Check those.

R4 is definitely ancient and outdated.

You should really read the Reviews, they are there for a reason!

I would recommend the AceKard2, SuperCard DS One or the CycloDS Evolution.
They are the best flashcards at the moment, because of several reasons.
Perfect rom compatability, frequent updates, cheat support, Real Time Save, ....

acekard 2, Edge, SCDS1, choose whatever one is easiest cheapest, they are all cheap and work well for the average pirate.

the DSTT, whilst being the cheapest, isn't the most reliable, and considering all the above cost less than a single DS game any way the savings just are not worth the potential pain.

(the isn't a rule against putting duplicate posts in every "what flashcard do i buy" topic is the?)
