Recommendations on a Blu Ray burner?

Im about to start tinkering with my 7.61 ps5 and want to go the BD-JB route due to its offline nature and relative ease of access. do you guys have any recommendations for a cost effective but solid burner to get? i just want to get a solid one to start, plus a BD-RE disc or two

You might want to say whether you want internal or external.

Unfortunately I haven't burnt any BDs yet with mine so I can't solidly recommend them for your use case.

As for BD-REs, I have a Verbatim one that has been solid in the past.

good point, yea im looking for an external one.

and word ive heard the verbatim BD-RE discs are good

I'm using a Pioneer BDR-XD07TB (External USB) with Verbatim BD-RE discs. Just plug-in and play. Burning images with IMGburn.

Pioneer drives are the best ones available. I'm not sure if it's true for all of them, but at least some verbatim branded drives actually contain a pioneer drive.
