Hi so I have a really long blank period of nothingness atm and unfortunately I cant spend it all playing League of Legends coz i'd probably go insane.
So i need some new games, help me gbatemp ^_^

To help recommendations let me revise some things about myself:

  • I'm a weaboo and a fantasy nerd, I love mythical shit and slaying monsters and demons etc. To that effect, Ninja Gaiden 2 was one of my favourite games. Need more games like that.

  • I'm also a story sucker, if I happen to find a storyline engaging enough I'll gain the ability to overlook anything that's bad about what I'm watching/doing.

  • Dark Souls drove me into gaming depression.

  • Not a fan of shooters

If ya'll could recommend me anything cool I'll love you forever
xoxo Ice

Deep, deep story

If You liked Ninja Gaiden 2 , games with similar gameplay, focused on slaying monsters are : Bayonetta, Devil May Cry , God of War.

What do you want to play it on? I love the Disgaea series, and if you are someone who wants to 100% everything, it'll take a while.
Basically everything from Nippon Ichi Software is quite fun to play.

You could also try out Dynasty Warriors 8 for PC.

Without a definitive console/hnadheld/pc and genre I can't really help much.

My PS3 needs more love, but im open for PC too,
I'd prefer those 2 over Xbox coz I won't be taking my xbox if I get into university

Actiony games like NJ II or RPG games are my main genre

Dragon's Dogma.

How did Dark Souls make you depressed? The game is difficult but it makes so much more rewarding and teaches you how to get good at games. Seriously you'll learn so much about game design playing it it's not even funny.

Oooo I loved DD.
Until I killed the dragon and suddenly everything went all messed up

Uhhh, Dark Souls provided me with many deaths of which could not be avoided and caused me great distress. Also I got invaded and eviscerated by online players frequently :toot:

Then check out DmC: Devil May Cry (the latest one) and Darksiders (1 & 2).

I'll keep suggesting Disgaea, since it is one of my favourite series, and are pretty unknown.

I can't think of many others at the moment, but when I think of more, I'll update this post.

Well that's kinda the point of the game. You die a lot, get punished for it, but learn from your mistakes and get stronger because of it.

I'd really suggest trying the game again but taking it slow, the game isn't about speed, it's about strategy. Ever attack, every roll, and every block counts. You can't just go around willy-nilly like Ninja Gaiden.

I would literally run you through the game in the willy nilly fashion you want...if you want to :) Tom BombaSoGoodHeCanWillyNilly ;O;

Dark Souls 2 is a lot easier than 1 IMO, you could always give that a try as well.

A game in which you win by memorizing patterns is difficult? Welcome to video games.

But yeah, I'd also recommend him Dragon's Dogma. Fantasy + dragon slaying.

Well I'm just saying that it's not like a regular action game where you're focused on those crazy combos, you'll sometimes just hit an enemy once and then retreat back and wait. It's about caution and preplanning.
