Just uh, be sure you have really good cooling and airflow when you go about it, things can go really bad really fast.
The worst that could happen is a thermal throttle or BSOD if it was done incorrectly, unless something is really f*cked

Either way, make sure you look up guides and understand what you're doing before you start. And yes, make sure you have an adequate cooler if you want to get very far
 
I don't think power or thermals will be anything close to an issue. After all, OP did have a 570 in there.

In reply to all the stuff talking about OCing his CPU, I wouldn't reccomend OCing a Sandy chip without good cooling, because those things make real good space heaters.

If you're worried about temps and are in need of a reading, try MSI Afterburner. It has built in diagnostics for GPU and CPU temps. if the CPU idles at more than 50-55c, then probably a good idea to turn the OC down.
