I tried searching for a topic just like this and there was, but it didn't really have too much wealthy content to revive it. Instead, I'd like to post this one with my recommendations and then hope that others can do the same so it helps every Android user in a way. :)

It's worth noting that Ridge Racer Slipstream is free until July 13 according to Bandai and then it becomes a paid game, I assume.

There are plenty of more emulators as I'm well aware but usually only play a SNES or NES game for a few mins (the controllers I have lag -- Switch Pro Controller / Joy-Cons).

Smartphone Gamers actually have a lot to play and it's not just a bunch of crap like many love to bash them as.

Droidsound-E is a great music player. I highly recommend it.
X-Plore File Manager is a pretty good one, I really like this one.
MX Player is an excellent video player.
Snes9x EX+ is a very good snes emu, part of the .emu series.
Drastic is a very good DS emulator.

I'll give Droidsound-E a try but VLC just feels so complete to just play music and videos, but hey, Droidsound-E just might be better.
