Hacking Recognising portable HDD

I appreciate some advice on what to do to enable the Wii to recognise the HDD connected to the USB port. I am thinking about the possibility of duping the game ISO to the HDD, which can then be burned easily. I have wifi, but I think this way is much faster.

Forget the USB-HD..WiFi is much faster than dumping to USB...Use Wireless!
