Hacking Recent 5.5.2 question (Sorry for another one!)

Hello all,

Just a quick one.

I've got Haxchi installed and my Wii U is currently 5.5.1 but it's prompting me to upgrade to the latest version.

Shall I just go ahead and update or do I need to change the DNS settings first?

Alternatively does anyone have any spoofers they would recommend?

Lastly will all my games run online with the latest update or spoof even with CFW?

Is the DNS Spoofing to prevent the update?

I currently can't play super smash it's asking me to update shall I update then put the DNS Spoof on or just update?

I know a lot of these questions have already been asked but I've been searching for quite some hours and a lot of the posts are very vague....

If you're goal is to simply update smash you can just do so through NNU Patcher, though from what I hear Haxchi works completely fine in 5.5.2

Yes. 5.5.1 still plays games online fine for now.

download the latest smash update with wii u usbhelper and install with wup installer, you can delete the previous update before isntalling the new one

Can I do the same with Zelda? Or does some game update need strictly to be on 5.5.2 firmware?

you don't need to spoof if you're coldbooting with cbhc

So does the 99.99.99 firmware thing in haxchi actually works for spoofing updates?
