Hacking Rebug Toolbox is broken. Can I just install Rebug 4.82 over the old version?

I just bought a jailbroken PS3 with firmware 4.78 and I am not sure how to update to the latest CFW. I am able to load games successfully through Multiman, but when I try to load Rebug Toolbox, I get an error message "You are not running compatible REBUG configuration!".

Can I just delete all of the old software and install Rebug 4.82? I am worried about bricking the system.

just install the rebug update via usb
you wont get brick
