Hey all! I have a CHEH PS3 on Rebug 4.84.1.
I figured an HDD upgrade would go smoothly as it did when I was on 4.82. Did backup, installed new HDD, started restore, and got "corrupted" data. So, I put my old HDD back in, and now I'm getting GLOD, I'm guessing it's because the FW on the machine doesn't match the HDD? It's not a video issue, I've ruled that out.
Is there a way to maybe "upgrade" the PS3 back to recognizing the original HDD so I can roll back to 4.82 and upgrade the HDD then?
Edit: I forgot to mention, in my ineptitude, I installed OFW 4.84 on the new HDD thinking the web-exploit would still work, which it doesn't. I have since tried wiping that HDD and "restoring" using Ferrox, Overflow and Rebug 4.84.
