Actually you can simply start from the modify 4.2 part of that guide....

You could download loadmii, and lauch it directly from bannerbomb (rename the loadmii dol file to boot.dol, and put on root of sd card, then use bannerbomb).

Then use loadmii to run signcheck or title lister, and it will generate a log or csv file on your sd. post the log or csv file here so I can look at it and make a tailor-made solution for you.

(You can get all these apps from wiibrew.org)

Yeah, extract the .dol file and rename it to boot.dol, and then launch bannerbomb. You can then use loadmii to navigate through your sd card to load other .dol files.

hellion_52883 hasn't got HBC installed anymore due to the format, but cannot run the hackmii installer to install it. It just comes up with an error. That's why we need to use a different method. (to find out exactly why it won't load. My guess it's because of an older cIOSCORP (

I have tried.......
the download didn't need to be renamed, try in fat and fat32 for sd card........nothing shows up in sd menu.....i waited to put card in until i was there and it said no card...insert
thoughts?? thanks

didn't use banner bomb....i guess.....i just put the boot.dol in root didn't finish instrustions.......

so banner bomb's private folder and loadmii's boot.dol in root of sd is working......
Put Sign Check in and after banner bomb black screen........
Sign Checks folder is in root of sd......
Title Lister looks too scary.......(edit) have it now, if told to do so(folder in root just like SignCheck)
your help is apperciated

also how do you hard reset the wii(when it freezes, instead of unpluging it)
So, should my SignCheck folder be different?

it's in sd root and it has boot.dol, boot.elf, icon, meta

When you had problems with the Hackmii installer before - was bannerbomb installed? If not you could retry now. If it was then I suggest you provide the title lister log output requested by da_letter_a

i didn't have problem with hackmii, before it was going good i was just scared and stopped and formatted..... now, hackmii doesn't work, am working with razorback78 to solve my prob.

If he can't help i will post the title lister log.....thanks though

yeah i know that formatting does nothing now.......thanks for the fat/fat32 info.....I THINK i have already done bootmii first......my install was going great but i got scared and stopped and formatted, so if the order of the hack goes bootmii then, hackmii, that's what i did

This is a much bigger problem than anyone thought..........I cannot put HBC on my wii, i cannot just start over, i have to go into Trucha Bug Restore, though Banner Bomb v2.....with only private folder and Trucha Bug restore (named boot.dol) in the root of my SD card.... am waiting for further instruction from razorback78...... so not asking any New questions just thought i would let People know......

OK!

You DO have cIOSCORP v3.x installed, and cIOS250, which means we can fix all this.

OK. Download and run the cIOS249rev14 installer via loadmii or bannerbomb.

When it asks what IOS you want it to run under, select IOS250.

Then install cIOS249. If your wii's connected to internet, select "network installation".

If it's not, you'll need to google the file "IOS38-64-v3610.wad" and put it on the root of your sd, and choose "wad installation"

Now that cIOS249 is installed, email [email protected] for 2 links. (cIOSCORP v3.6 Main, and cIOSCORP v3.x Uninstaller). Download both.

Put all of the v3.x uninstaller files on your sd, and run the cIOSCORP v3.x uninstaller. the .dol is found in "apps\cIOSCORP_v3.x_Uninstaller\boot.dol". run this .dol file with bannerbomb or loadmii.

This will uninstall the cIOSCORP you have.

Now run the hackmii installer, (OMG it workz!) and reinstall HBC.

You should now have the HBC back!

Then you can install cIOSCORP v3.6 if you want to play burned games via disc channel. v3.6 is compatible with 4.2 and hackmii installer.

to tell you guys i got it with the help of several others 100% fix.....i had to unistall cioscorp.....something else too but i yet did the whole hack so i forget what, But and Da Letter A is the shit.....he's the one that cracked my sign check dump!!!!!!
