I used to have a GC. The I had a Wii and ditched the GC but kept the GC cards. (I don't recall why I did that, but glad I did!). Oddly I kept one GC controller as well.
Anyway, I soft-modded the Wii - all lovely.
Then I got a WiiU, transferred all my stuff across to the WiiU and gave the Wii away.
For fun, I recently decided to play Mario Kart Wii DD so I got the GC controller adapter for the WiiU - works a treat!
But, it was only then I realised that nione of my GC save games had come across from the original GC. I can use Nintendont for playing the GC games and GC card emulation works fine. But iof course none of my old GC saves exist. Except on the GC cards. But I don't have any hardware any more that I can plug the GC card into.
Is my best best buy a second hand Wii (001) off Ebay to read the GC cards, or does anyone know a better and more direct way to read the cards? My plan is to create save files from them that Nintendont can read.
TIA
