So I take it from the response, or lack of one, that racism is acceptable here then?

While the PM may have been made on here, its quite apparent that it stemmed from a problem you two had over on IRC, hence its an IRC problem which is why we tell people to deal with it via PM. Had something happened on the forum, which was then followed by the PM, it would be a forum problem.
