All imports works very well for me.Binxy said:Well I for one can't wait for 3.0 to come about.
I can't get the 2.02 version to import any rockband game. Works great on Guitar Hero games. But, not Rock Band.
Was told to sign in as administrator to get this to work. Unless it means Admin on my computer, I don't know what it is talking about.

They means "Open as Administrator" will work. But this is only on Windows Vista or Seven
And if you can import GH songs, maybe your Rockband iso file is bad...

Is this a known issue? or have I got a bad iso, being dumb etc... I'm using v2.02 (Which I presume is the most current version) any help would be gratefully received.

It fixes most of the crashes on GH2 and other GH games. It also improves the quality on songs that were previously poorly encoded (some of the Guitar Hero songs may sound crummy using the old rawkaudio.dll). tueidj knows the full details.ttttttrrrr said:If I import songs from ghwt and gh5 how does the drums charts will look like (will I only have 4 buttons on the game?)If I recall correctly, any orange hits are mapped to blue. Overdrive fill sections are automatically added. The long "drumroll" notes of GHWT and later are converted to a string of notes (1/8's, 16ths, etc. depending on difficulty).

Or is just for GHII importing?
pinkhyori said:i've sent a PM to AerialX about drum mapping for GH charts.
The odd thing is that orange hits in GH are for the crash cymbals, but when they're mapped using RawkSD they become blue, which is the tom i believe on RB2. It might be better to add an option to map orange to green, since green is the crash for RB2.

You don't HAVE to re-import them. But it's the price you pay if you want better quality.zero.echelon said:So I'll have to import all my GH games again!?
Is there any other way to get this without importing again?
xD so I HAVE to, because I love quality xDtueidj said:You don't HAVE to re-import them. But it's the price you pay if you want better quality.zero.echelon said:So I'll have to import all my GH games again!?

So *basically*, I will have to re-download each of my songs one by one, and then move them onto my SD card somehow, then my HDD somehow? I assume there will be instructions for n00bs like me?zapu said:You can drag and drop from SD to HDD.
Also, this is not "nand emulator" you all know. This is as close as RB2 would be with, let's say, SDHC support.
If you've already downloaded them, then aren't they already on your SD card? Check under private/wii/DATA/. There will be folders named SZAE, SZBE, SZCE, and SZDE depending on what DLC you've downloaded, each containing several .bin files. If all of your DLC is stored on your NAND for some reason, then you can simply move it over in the Wii Data Management menu, or start Rock Band 2 and enable SD card mode and it will copy them over.cvgoldensun said:So *basically*, I will have to re-download each of my songs one by one, and then move them onto my SD card somehow, then my HDD somehow?
