Why are so many games on Xbox that use quick resume broken when it comes to audio?

Not sure. Due to that issue, I don't leave my system on standby. I've had some software issues with the ps5 as well.

I didn't know other games had this sound problem. Lost odyssey doesn't, but the cloud sync then signing in again disrupts the gameplay. Neither the ps5 nor the switch has this distraction.

I can't believe that kazooie looks this good. do you know if you download a game pass game, it's taken off or you no longer subscribe, do you have to redownload the entire game if you choose to buy it?

You could just buy a physical copy of Rare Replay for like 10 dollars off eBay or w/e.

I don't known for sure, but I don't think so. The only one I've bought afterward was DQXI which was on disc and I still haven't opened it. I did already have FFXIII installed and then it showed up on Game Pass where it would suddenly let me start the game without the disc being inserted anymore. I don't believe there was any additional download that time, but don't remember exactly.

You only use the disc for DRM checks (And to help installation of non-emulated games) so it makes sense. Game Pass or account DRM allows you to play even without the disc's DRM.

I guess they don't play nice with loading state. Some PSP games on the Go are like that too.

the audio being broken thing is something that pisses me off about resuming. I used to leave my series x off because of it, but if you do that, it won't automatically download updates or content you send to it from your phone. damn frustrating.
