to make n64 games work properly on a DS you need to modify the DS so far that it's no longer a DS, but an N64portable.strata8 said:What about a co-processor chip?

genuisgeek said:im not sure if this has been discussed but i know that the n64 cant be emulated on the DS
bu couldnt having hombrew that utilizes the RAm pack allow the use of a N64 emulator on DS to power its capacity
or is the graphics or something not enough

So well said. The DS can't do it....Narin said:Why do people keep asking this question? The answer will always be no, it just doesn't have the power to emulate N64 games. :/

Vampire Hunter D said:N64 on the basic level has a nearly 100mhz main processor alone, requires plenty of ram, has another juicy processor going with it as well. Now given that the DS has a 66 and 33mhz cpu, under a MB of ram, and so on...can you figure the math how the hell the N64 is going to run? And I'm really dumbing this down badly even putting it this way.

I think a rickroll would of been more appropriate,.Trolly said:OMG, some guy JUST worked out how to do it:
N64 EMUZ0RZ ON DS L1NK
I like to call it a FastFoodRoll!![]()
Just thought I'd try it out.

Gba-emulation doesn't exist on the DS because it has the actual Gba hardware.pedroion said:If DS had GBA emulation, who knows if N64 emulation gonna be possible!
Maybe with a Slot-2 RAM+ARM11+3D Renderer addon...

theclaw said:No. DS doesn't have enough processing power for software emulation of N64. If you had a game's complete original source code, porting may be doable with tons of work.
Even PSP has terrible performance in N64 emulators. Not nearly fast enough for some games to be playable.

You mean...basically deconstruct the DS. *sighs*Japhle said:The only way it would be possible is if you completely changed the guts of the DS with a thingy that can and is small enough to fit in it AND have it adaptable with a DS card loader slot thingy. oh and it would need to work wit the screens.
