So i updated my 3DS but now my card is not working anymore but the thread somwhere up there says it should anyway i can update the files in my flash cart with my computer?

ah, sounds like a easy solution.

There's no way to update the cart from a computer unless you're really good a soldering and are capable of figuring out how the flashing process works with the R4iTT Purple.
You could update the files on the SD, but that won't make it bootable.

edit- An alternative DS Phat or Lite would work (or a non-updated DSi or 3DS) like Luigi2012SM64DS said.
