Hacking R4i SDHC Update question

I got an R4i SDHC (red box) and I tried to update my kernel, but for some reason it doesn't work.

There are 3 files in the root of my sd:
_ds_menu.sys
_ds_menu.dat
_ds_mshl.nds

that are not in the kernel update file. However if I don't put these files on my sd card, it will be stuck at the loading screen.
There is a file that comes with the kernel update that I don't have: r4.dat but even renaming that doesn't work.
I have NO CLUE how I got these 3 files in the first place.
The website of my card is: r4i-sdhc.com

Help would be appreciated.

Clearly, you don't have an R4i SDHC (red box)

if its true download the following firmware

http://filetrip.net/f9811-R4i-SDHC-1-17b.html

make sure every file & folder is copied to the root of your SD card

if this fails to work then u may have a fake card (and yes i realize that the R4i-SDHC is a fake of the r4

)

I was certain, so I grabbed the box and wanted to make a picture of it. And then I saw my kernel's website isnt r4i-sdhc.com, but r4isdhc.com xD
So thank you xD
