Hacking R4i-SDHC not working on 3DS 6.3.0-12U

I purchased a 3DS recently as well as a R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS card. I placed the card in the 3DS and the 3DS gave me an error message. I found that I had to update the firmware on the R4i card. So I did. I updated the kernel to 1.75b and the firmware to the latest. When I go the "update" section in config, it says it will work with 3DS 6.2. According to the website, the 6.2 firmware on the card will work with 6.3.0-12U. I placed the card into the system, but it refuses to boot and gives me an error message. I'm completely lost.
Any help?
