I have a 3DS XL 11.6.0-39U.

Per the suggestion of a thread I read on here a couple weeks ago, I bought the R4i SDHC Gold Pro from a GBATemp-sponsored site:
http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=490

As you can see, the site claims it is compatible with 3DS XL and version 11.6.0-39U and claims they'd update the firmware to support it before sending.

Even this site says it's compatible with 11.6.0-39U and below:

But, when I put it in my 3DS, nothing shows up in the card slot icon on the 3DS Home screen. However, it works in my DS Lite just fine. This makes me think the firmware isn't up-to-date for the latest 3DS firmware, contrary to nds-card.com's claim.

I went to the web site written on the flashcard ( http://www.r4isdhc.com/r4-download/ ), and see the web site claims that the cards are only compatible with firmwares up to 11.5.0-38:

I can't find a firmware update download on their web site. I noticed there is a large variety of R4 cards out there. Are there firmwares I can flash onto my card to get it to work with 11.6.0-39U?

Thank you

the ipad pros are really decent for drawing, but then again the Galaxy Tabs do just as good or better job for less, and the best part is you don't have to charge the stylus
