You'll need a firmware update, if possible for your card.

What is linked here is NOT firmware, it's a menu or OS.
It's the same with people calling games they download ROMs, which is Read-Only Memory or the hardware that is inside the retail cart. They are ROM Images or ROM dumps, but it's not that big of a deal because no one confuses what is called a "ROM" for a retail cart, unlike this where people mistakenly call the menu a 'firmware' and others think that it will fix it to work with DSi 1.4.1s.

Depends on which one of the 23980075293865203946509234750923875098 R4 clones you have.

Some of them have updateable firmware, others are put out by teams that don't give a shit.

Super Scribblenauts definitely working fine with this. 999 too.

People keep knocking this clone, but it's cheap and it gets monthly updates.

The only bad thing about this update is that I'm now considerably less excited to get my DSTwo, damn you Honk Kong mail.

Download the file available at the given link (click on the language you want).

Unzip the file you get into a folder on your desktop.

Plug your microSD you use in your R4i into your PC using an adapter.

Open a window for the microSD and drag all the files you unzipped over.

If windows asks if you want to merge folders or replace files choose 'yes'.

Yes, it does. Personally worked for me with a clean ROM I dumped myself.
