Hacking R4i Gold Cards - Which One?

Hi Guys (and Girls),

I have spent the past two-days trying to wrap my head around R4i Gold cards and which one to get etc, but each day I just end up getting more confused than the last, as I discover even more types of cards and no answers. I have a DS Lite at the moment and would just like to play games on there, as well as have real-time options like saving and cheats etc, so which card from these should I get;

• R4i Gold Plus (r4ids.com)
• R4i Gold 3DS (r4ids.cn)
• R4i Gold 3DS (r4i-gold.eu)

PS. Does anyone know of any UK sellers of these cards which have them in stock, so delivery in like 2-3 days via Royal Mail is possible?

Ah, thought as much mate (the forum rules said that r4ids.cn is legit, but didn't mention any of the other sites). Do you know if this card has real-time features, such as saving or cheats? I was considering purchasing the R4i Gold card from r4i-gold.eu, because it has these features, but it also looks like it has less support/updates than r4ids.cn.

It seems that R4i Gold card from r4i-gold.eu does not support 3DS 4.3.0-10. Just make a research before buying. I recommend you r4i gold 3ds from r4ids.cn too, which releases the updating patch as fast as dstwo.

On that note, does anyone know of a reliable site where I can purchase the card from the UK and ensure fast delivery (i.e. of a few days), as opposed to having the card shipped from China which could take a few weeks? I've found a few sites, but all of their payment systems seem to be down, so I can't actually purchase anything

The r4ids.com's R4i Gold Plus has real-time save and gets frequent updates.
It works with 3ds 4.3.0-10.
And it goes for $10, at least the simple edition.

The safest bet is the one from r4ids.cn, since they got frequent kernel updates and quick bootloader updates, but if you want RTS (real-time save) then I would go for the Gold Plus, and besides it's only 10 bucks and it works with the latest 3DS firmware.

A UK or European site will probably charge a lot more than a Chinese one, in that case you might as well get a Supercard DSTWO, which is the best card out there at the moment, when it comes to updates and extra features.

The only good R4i Gold is the R4i Gold from http://r4ids.cn/. It's the only one that officially supports Wood R4 and actually has a real team updating it and they are the fastest at their updates.

If you want RTS and such, go for the DSTwo, since it has an update ability that can sometimes bypass an already-updated DSi/3DS system ontop of it.

discoazul.co.uk sells them and they are based in Spain.

That's a PERFECT site mate (quick delivery, UK phone number, great support etc), but they don't sell the R4i Gold 3DS from what I can see unfortunately

The DSTwo is too expensive mate; have you heard of http://r4-3.com mate? They ship to the UK within the week and including postage, have the R4i Gold 3DS at £15.

You find 23.80£ expensive for a dstwo, but are willing to pay 15£ for a r4i gold?
Anyway I don't know the website you just mentioned, but the other one has the acekard 2i for 13.50£ might as well get that one if it's really a money issue.
