Hacking R4i Gold 3DS won't update

I have a R4i 3DS card with the number “8” on the back in the red area.
When the card is inserted to the 3DS, I get a SpongeBob icon.
When I select the icon I receive an error and instructed to hold the POWER button down.
I have tried to update this card with the 1.62 Kernel and the V6.2.0 Patch but I still get the SpongeBob icon and the error.

Can this card be updated to run on the 6.3.0-12U?

I have 2 3DS consoles. One is currently at 6.3.0-12U and the other is at 2.2.0-0U

4.3.0 is the Highest Firmware the Revision 8 cards could go up to
it will never be able to get on 4.4.0 or higher
